An immersion water heater at Swathi's Peerzadiguda, Medipally home electrocuted her 40-year-old. She died instantly when she unintentionally touched water when the heater was on.
Hyderabad: On Monday, a 40-year-old lady in Peerzadiguda, Medipally, died from an immersion water heater shock.
D Swathi, from Bhongir, was residing in Mallikarjuna Nagar with her husband Srinivas and their three children. Printer Srinivas works at Cherlapally.
The police said Swathi slipped in the evening and touched the bucket's water while the heater was on, causing a serious electric shock.
She died instantly from the shock.
Police stated the electrical current burned areas of her body. After seeing smoke from the house, neighbors ran inside and discovered Swathi was burned. They called cops immediately.
Medipally police investigated the deadly accident to determine its cause.
