On Monday, Kothagudem Additional Collector D Venugopal was unharmed after his vehicle collided with a container truck close to Kamineni Hospital in Narketpally, Nalgonda district. According to reports, the truck was trying to make a U-turn when the collision happened.

On Monday, while the container truck was doing a U-turn on the flyover near Kamineni Hospital at Narketpally in the Nalgonda district, the automobile struck it while it was heading from Hyderabad to Kothagudem.

Venugopal escaped unharmed despite the car's front end being destroyed. Narkatpally SI Krishna Murthy arrived at the location and conducted relief efforts after learning of the event. In a different car, the extra Collector drove to Kothagudem.
