According to authorities, a 23-year-old man was detained in Hyderabad for operating a healthcare facility without the necessary medical credentials or license and posing as a licensed physician.

On September 22, Mohd Adnan, the accused, was taken into custody during a police raid at his Hikma Sehath Care Center in the Golconda region.

Adnan had barely finished his upper secondary education, yet he was treating patients without a recognized medical degree, according to the authorities. His brother, Mohd Faizan, who has also been designated as an accused person, and mother, Saba Khan, also known as Mohammadi Begum, are now at large.

According to police, the family posed as ancient healers (Hakeems) and treated people for a variety of illnesses, such as breathing issues, chest pain, severe body pain, kidney and bladder issues, frequent vomiting, and sexual health issues.
