A mother and her two little boys were discovered dead in Palnadu, Andhra Pradesh, accused of poisoning and suicide. A family argument may have caused the event, and police have opened a case to investigate the killings.

Amaravati: A mother in Palnadu, Andhra Pradesh, poisoned her two little boys before committing herself. The incident occurred in Vittamrajupalli village, Vinukonda mandal, police say.

Before hanging herself at home, Nakka Bharati (24) murdered Tejesh Reddy (6) and Hemanatha Nagi Reddy (4). After serving her sons poisoned food on Monday night, police believe she committed suicide. The incident was reported Tuesday morning.

A police squad raced to the scene and moved the remains for postmortem examination after villages reported it. Family strife may have caused the tragedy. Bharati married milk van driver Sunil Reddy.

Their neighbours said Sunil Reddy was hooked to vices and neglecting the family. This caused regular husband-wife disputes. Police opened a case and investigated. This is the latest devastating tragedy in Telugu states.

Family fights were found to be the main reason for most of the problems.
