HYDERABAD: In Telangana's Nizamabad district, a woman allegedly plotted to kill her husband with the help of her paramour and another accomplice. This is a startling murder plot. Dayini Prashanth, 35, was killed while recuperating from a prior attempt on his life, according to local authorities.

Police have detained the accused, who are Sandhya (32), the victim's wife, Anil (35), and his buddy Venkat Sai (also known as Bunty). The last, deadly deed, according to investigators, was injecting a deadly mixture of crushed sedatives and toilet bowl cleanser straight into Prashanth's intravenous (IV) line on June 30.

An Unsuccessful First Attempt

After Prashanth's mother submitted a formal complaint expressing serious concerns about the circumstances of his death, the inquiry into his death got underway.

After working in the Gulf for two years, Prashanth just returned to India on June 27 with the intention of remaining there permanently. According to law enforcement, Sandhya saw her husband's permanent homecoming as a direct danger to her continued extramarital affair with Anil.

Together with Anil and Sai, Sandhya devised a scheme to kill him by utilizing her experience as a nurse. On June 29, the three made their first effort to stage a deadly accident. According to police allegations, Sai went to see Prashanth, gave him a lot of booze, and then led him to the terrace, where he shoved him away after Sandhya gave him orders over the phone.

The Deadly Execution at Home

Despite suffering serious injuries, Prashanth miraculously survived the incident. The suspects admitted him to a hospital after convincing him that his fall was an accident caused by intoxication in order to hide their tracks. Later, he was released to recuperate at home.

Sandhya took control of giving him IV fluids at home because she had already received medical training. She allegedly took advantage of the situation to contaminate the IV line with ground sleeping tablets and toilet cleanser. She also dragged him from his bed onto the ground to make sure the act was lethal.

At first, Sandhya tried to blame his unexpected death on health issues brought on by the terrace accident. But Prashanth's mother, who lives apart from him and was not informed at all of her son's homecoming and subsequent hospital stay, stepped in and called the police.

The cops discovered the scheme after conducting a thorough investigation. After being brought before a local court, all three of them were placed under judicial detention.
