A 30-year-old guy was stabbed to death in Madhapur,Hyderabad on Wednesday over a long-standing personal issue related to a failed romance.
Warangal native Bhaskar was discovered slain at Ayyappa Society under Madhapur Police Station.
According to reports, Bhaskar dated a rural girl. Her family rejected the romance and married her to another guy three years ago. The couple divorced recently.
Police believe the woman's father held Bhaskar accountable for the divorce and had a vendetta against him. Officials are investigating if this resentment caused the tragic attack.
Bhaskar's brother said that unidentified thugs hacked him to death in the Ayyappa Society neighborhood when he was alone.
Madhapur police are probing from all perspectives. The crime scene was forensically analyzed. The killers are being sought.
Police said the inquiry will reveal the suspects' motives and roles.
