A gang of guys were attacked by members of the public and their vehicle was destroyed on Wednesday nite on Magadi Road. The men were suspected of trying to abduct a girl. But the girl stepped in and informed the onlookers that the guys were actually her father and other relatives who had come to get her before she returned to Rajasthan.

The girl went to the police later to explain that she had defied her family's desires by marrying a man from a different caste.

According to her, her family had located her and were requesting that she go back to Rajasthan, even though she and her husband had just arrived in Bengaluru.

My family was quite opposed to my marriage because he was from a different caste. It seems like my family followed me here when we visited here not long ago. She informed the police that her family had asked her to return to Rajasthan.

According to a senior police officer, the girl is being asked to file a complaint in order to initiate further measures.

At the same time, six individuals, including a girl aged nine, were hurt in the event, according to the police. A woman who had sustained severe brain damage was sent to the intensive care unit of a private hospital that was close by.

In the chaos, the family's car took a beating as well. As the family allegedly attempted to flee the scene, their vehicle collided with several vehicles, according to the police.

According to authorities, the suspects have been apprehended and the vehicle that was reportedly used to abduct the youngster has been confiscated.

According to the police, they have not yet filed any charges and will wait for the girl to file a complaint before taking any further action.
