A 16-year-old girl in Delhi was allegedly gangraped by four people, including three minors, stabbed to death, and then her body was thrown in an open field where dogs ate pieces of it. The authorities claim that the horrific act was discovered on September 13, a few days after the rape and murder, when the victim's decomposing body was discovered.

The body had decayed to the point where it was impossible to determine its gender right away, according to the authorities.

The girl and the accused were acquainted, according to the police, and she was traveling in a tempo with them at the time of the crime. Before the girl was sexually raped, fatally stabbed, and her body disposed of, they apparently shared a drink inside a tempo.

The girl's decomposing body was discovered on September 13 outside Jaipal Rana's field in the Swaroop Nagar neighborhood on Kushak Road in Northwest Delhi, according to the police. One of her hands was discovered detached from the body, and stray dogs had also consumed some of the body, according to the authorities.

The girl's relatives had not filed a missing person's report. Her family reportedly told the police that she frequently left the house and came back a few days later.

A case was filed in accordance with applicable BNS and POCSO Act provisions. Police personnel examined more than 50 CCTV cameras that covered the location and nearby routes because there were no apparent eyewitnesses and the identity of the attackers was first unknown.

A tempo was seen shifting close to the scene at the pertinent moment during the analysis. Due of the darkness, its registration number was difficult to see, so investigators followed its movements through many CCTV cameras.

During the intervening night of September 15 and 16, a full-night search operation was carried out, and the suspected tempo was located. Its driver was located and interrogated.

Four people, including three minors, who were allegedly connected to the crime were later apprehended as a result of the inquiry.

According to authorities, the three kids are 16 and 17 years old, and the adult charged is Khadda Colony resident Shivam alias Sudama alias Chuchu.

The tempo, clothes purportedly worn by the accused, and two knives reportedly used in the crime were found.

According to authorities, more research is being done to determine the order of events, identify the specific roles of individuals detained, and confirm the forensic and technical evidence.
