The Cockroach Janta Party leaders' dancing and rejoicing following Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation continue to cause a stir. After the demonstration, several satirists criticized the party films' "insensitivity".

"I wasn't going to say anything, but I saw this video and am furious," Meghnad wrote about the CJP party video.

He concluded with harsh criticism of the CJP: "While you partied, 70+ protestors and students in Delhi starved because YOU didn't care. Congratulations, CJP, you're simply another political party."
