According to the authorities, a family of four jumped off a bridge in Elamanchili, Andhra Pradesh, into the Godavari River.

A lady was rescued by local fishermen, while three remains were recovered during search operations on Sunday, according to a police officer.
The event happened at about 6:15 in the morning on Saturday, according to the official.

The Chinchinada bridge was the jumping off point for the family into the Godavari River. "A woman was rescued by local fishermen," the officer informed PTI, adding that three bodies have been found during search operations.

He announced that the 42-year-old woman who had been rescued had been transferred to the Government Hospital in Razole.

Based on the registration numbers of the two motorcycles discovered at the site, the family was identified as residents of Tanuku town, according to the police.

Police reported that Padmini's husband, Namburi Srinivas, 45, and their two young children were among the three victims.

They went on to say that to find out what happened, more investigations were being carried out.
