The 'Kalma' school in Hyderabad is currently embroiled in a homework dispute. According to the police, the class consisted of 24 Muslim students and one Hindu student, which is a complete violation of the school's education policy. On Thursday, Hyderabad police confirmed that Success School's Class 2 section has 25 children, including one Hindu and 24 Muslims, amid the 'Kalma' homework scandal.

Khare Kiran Prabhakar, Charminar Zone DCP, said:

We heard of a Success School incident yesterday. One lady instructor assigned Kalma as homework at this school. It violated education and school policies since all 25 kids were Muslim, save one Hindu."

Hindu parents attended the police station and school in the evening. The school management has taken action, with the Success School MD stating that the instructor has been fired. Parents are happy with the measures taken. Police are watching. No one should promote Hindu-Muslim animosity or communalism. Please disregard rumors. The school management and parents are aligned, he stated. The demonstration here has over 30 individuals in preventative detention and is calm. Parents also told police they have no complaints against management. Thus, we have not complained about this issue. "We'll seek legal advice if another complaint comes in," he added.

Student homework journal photos went viral on social media Thursday. The diary sheets from July 11 purportedly include homework entries like "Read 1,2 Kalma" and "Read Surah Fateha" under "Deeniyath" while other entries are under Math and Computer. Both pages of homework purportedly include the teacher's signature.

Success, The School in Hyderabad's Sayeedabad fired teacher Shaik Aisha Parveen. The school said in its termination letter that Parveen was permanently forbidden from working at any Success Group education facility.

BJP activists outside the school demanded case action. The demonstration saw police arrest BJP leader Andela Sriramulu Yadav, attorney Karuna Sagar, and numerous other party workers. Before being held, Karuna Sagar asked reporters why no FIR had been filed and demanded action against the school principal.
