JACKSON TOWNSHIP, NJ – Jackson Township Councilman Ninio Borelli spoke out against the State of New Jersey’s sexual education curriculum and called upon parents to voice their concerns at the next school board meeting.
“I wish all the best to students of Jackson who are starting school soon,” Borelli said. “I support the parental rights of parents regarding Sex Education in schools and feel that parents should be the ones to bring up the discussion with their children.”
The state’s new controversial sex education that focuses on a progressive style of gender education and advanced sexual education topics for younger students started this year in New Jersey.
“The State refuses to leave that topic with parents,” he said.
Borelli urged parents to voice their concerns to the Jackson Township Board of Education.
